Q-Tip

Phoenix is not too well known for bringing in great music performers. I really don't understand it since we are so close to CA that only a few hours on the road, they could be performing here. Maybe it's bad promoters, maybe it's the lack of community support but either way it sucks we don't get to see some better shows. This is why I jumped at the chance to see Q-Tip perform here. I don't even know the last time he was here but his performance was amazing. A full live band and kept the crowd hyped up the entire show.

Travis Barker & The Game

Travis Barker is damn talented and anyone who can drop a dope beat on some hip hop track and then kill it on with punk beat is rad. People need to stop being so close minded.

New Work Updates

It has been some time since the site has been updated so take a peek at all the new work. New Apparel, Print, and Logo work. Picked up another clothing line in the action sports industry so keep an eye out for some new works of that as well.

Other than that Phoenix is starting to get hot which means more time in doors and at the pool.

Another Album Design

Provoke Creative has had the opportunity to work with photographer Giulio Sciorio, www.GiulioSciorio.com on the album layout and logo for rap artist Willy Northpole who is with DTP www.myspace.com/willynorthpole

Willy was able to give a sample of his new album tracks during the meeting and this is something you wouldn't think came out of PHX. He also will have his video premiere for Body Marked Up soon.

New Bizzy Bone Album

Provoke Creative has had the opportunity to work with After Platinum Records on art direction and album design for the new Bizzy Bone album, A Song For You. It's been a pleasure working with such a great label and I'm looking forward to the release of the album. DMX, Twista, Joel Madden (from Good Charlotte), Jim Jones, and Chris Notez are all to be featured on the album. Once the album drops images of the entire layout will be posted.
